TERMS OF SERVICE

Terms of Service

Effective date: September 16, 2026 · Applicable to: ONHARU 2.2.x and onharu.app

ONHARU's core features are currently free. No account is required, and local features run on your PC. Connecting a calendar account is optional, and you can connect either Google or Microsoft. Some features may become paid in the future.

Article 1 Purpose and Scope of Application

These terms and conditions set forth the conditions for using the ONHARU Windows software, the official website onharu.app, downloads, and support services (collectively referred to as “Services”) provided by ONHARU developer JUAN.HJLEE (hereinafter referred to as “Operator”). When a user downloads, installs, or uses ONHARU, it is considered as agreeing to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree, please stop installing or using it.

Article 2 Service Content

  1. A Windows desktop calendar with local events, to-dos, recurring events, D-Day, anniversaries, alarms, timers, timetables, search, and backup
  2. Integration with either Google Calendar and Google Tasks or Microsoft Outlook Calendar, as selected by the user
  3. Official installers, release information, FAQ, and email support

ONHARU may display guidance banners configured directly by the operator. The operator may later offer a one-time ad-removal purchase that removes banners and unlocks the ability to close the detailed calendar and use desktop pinning mode. Pricing, sales channels, launch date, purchase restoration, and refund terms will be disclosed on the official website or in the app before sales begin. No charge will be made without the user's explicit purchase and payment consent.

Article 3 Environment and User Responsibilities

  1. Use a supported Windows environment and files obtained from an official distribution channel.
  2. Back up important events regularly and keep exported files secure.
  3. You are responsible for protecting your Google or Microsoft account and authentication information and must not disclose it to others.
  4. Do not use the Service to violate the law, infringe others' rights, attack or bypass systems, or distribute malware.

Article 4 External Services

Google Calendar, Google Tasks, Microsoft Outlook Calendar, and any subscribed-calendar host entered by the user are services operated separately from ONHARU. Each provider's terms, policies, API limits, fees, and usage rules apply. Some features may be limited by provider outages, policy changes, API suspension, or data-format changes. ONHARU is designed not to modify original data in a connected account unless the user requests the relevant action, and subscribed calendars are displayed read-only.

Article 5 Data and Privacy

Events, settings, connection data, subscribed-calendar addresses and downloaded event copies, and automatic backups are stored on your PC in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Onharu. Data is exchanged with the selected provider's APIs only when you connect Google or Microsoft and only within the permissions you approve. Your PC contacts a subscribed-calendar host directly when you enter its address. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Article 6 Intellectual Property Rights and Permission to Use

The rights to ONHARU's programs, designs, documents, logos, and website content belong to the operator or the rightful owner. The operator grants individuals and organizations a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to properly install and use ONHARU. Except as permitted by law, the program or distribution files must not be sold, redistributed, rented without permission, or misrepresented as to their source.

Article 7 Service Changes and Suspension

The operator may modify the service or suspend certain functions due to feature improvements, security, external changes, or operational needs. Significant changes for users are notified through release notes or announcements on the official website whenever possible. Due to the nature of free services, the permanent maintenance of specific functions or support periods is not guaranteed.

Article 8 Warranty and Scope of Liability

  1. The operator makes reasonable efforts to ensure the stability of the service and the protection of data, but does not guarantee that it will be error-free or always operate without interruption in all environments.
  2. The operator is not responsible for any damages caused by user actions, unofficial distributions, operating system or external service failures, device malfunctions, or failure to perform backups, unless caused by deliberate or gross negligence by the operator.
  3. This clause does not limit consumer rights that cannot be excluded or restricted under relevant laws or the responsibilities of the Operator.

Article 9 Ending Use

You may uninstall the program at any time. User data may remain after uninstalling so that it is available if you reinstall. To remove it completely, use the app's data-deletion feature or delete the documented storage folder. You can also revoke ONHARU's access separately in your Google or Microsoft account settings.

Article 10 Amendment of Terms

The operator may change the terms and conditions within the scope that does not violate relevant laws. In principle, the changes and their effective dates are publicly announced on the official website 7 days before implementation, and significant changes unfavorable to users are notified 30 days in advance whenever possible. Emergency changes due to laws or security may be applied first and notified without delay.

Article 11 Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These terms and conditions follow the laws of the Republic of Korea. If a dispute arises, the Operator and the user will sincerely consult with each other, and if it is not resolved, they may use the competent court or dispute resolution procedures prescribed by relevant laws.
